Jay Coonan
Co-coordinator at the Antipoverty Centre
Jay Coonan is an anti-poverty advocate who researches social policy, employment services and social security. He works with the Antipoverty Centre to advocate for systems changes to end conditional welfare and to increase payments above the poverty line so everyone can live with dignity. He is currently working to find ways to empower community level organising to respond to poverty and direct social policy reform from those living in poverty.
