Tim Dunlop

Tim Dunlop is an Australian author and academic who has written extensively about basic income, contributing to public discussions, academic and corporate conferences, as well as a number of Government reports, including a Productivity Commission investigation of digital disruption. He has a PhD in Political Philosophy and has taught at the Centre for Advancing Journalism at the University of Melbourne. His writing reflects his commitment to the idea of bottom-up democratic reform. His books, Why the Future Is Workless and The Future of Everything analyse basic income at length, offering perspectives around how technology will affect employment. He has also co-edited a book titled Implementing Basic Income in Australia with Elise Klein and Jennifer Mays.
