David Sligar

David Sligar is a policy analyst, researcher and blogger who writes about welfare systems and public finance. He has previously worked in social and budget policy divisions of Commonwealth Treasury and Finance departments. He has also worked as a unit manager of economic governance at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta and been a ministerial adviser.

 

He is currently a research student at Macquarie University investigating universalism and means testing of benefits for children and families in Australia. He blogs at Western Sydney Wonk and Tweets at @DavidSligar.
